Poultry meat is an important source of high quality proteins, minerals and vitamins to balance the human diet. Specially developed breeds of chicken meat (broiler) are now available with the ability of quick growth and high feed conversion efficiency.

Depending on the farm size, broiler farming can be a main source of family income or can provide subsidiary income and gainful employment to farmers throughout the year.In the year 2007 we started our own integration program whereby we supply Day Old Chicks, Feed, Medicines and Vaccines at our cost to the farmers.

Rearing period is 6-7 weeks only
At 5 to 6 weeks the broilers reach an average live weight of 2 kg and are selected, slaughtered, packaged and sold to different market outlets. A complete cycle is therefore 8 weeks long, making it 6 to 7 complete cycles annually.

Broilers have high feed conversion efficiency
Feed conversion ratio (FCR) is a measure of how well a flock converts feed intake (feed usage) into live weight. Small changes in FCR at any given feed price will have a substantial impact on financial margins. Solving, or preventing, FCR problems in a flock requires good planning.

Faster return from the investment
After about 42 days the full-grown broiler birds are lifted from the integration farms and marketed through our 'MSN Chicken' wholesale and retail chains.
